About the event

This course provides a practical foundation in anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics to improve teaching, performance, and safety in pole and aerial settings. Designed for instructors and athletes, it focuses on understanding how the body moves, the strength and mobility required for skills, and how to communicate these concepts effectively.

Participants will learn how to structure effective classes, including purposeful warm-ups, mobility and conditioning strategies, and skill progression to better support student development and reduce injury risk.

Following the lecture, join our instructor for a practical lab, where we will provide a hands-on opportunity to apply the principles and mechanics discussed. This experience will be more pole focused, but any attendees are welcome to join and learn!

REQUIREMENTS: Must be an instructor or a Pole 3.0+ student.

This is a lecture setting. Please come prepared to take notes and ask questions!

Lecture: 90 minutes
